A mi manera

Grapes originate from the earth and therefore require respect for nature and a protected environment. Only in this way can we ensure that the production process does not result in a loss of biological diversity.

Values such as respect for tradition, the land, family, and the noble character of the winemaker’s profession, whose main purpose is to fully enjoy, in serenity and harmony, those moments of life that deserve it most.

“To innovate without forgetting”: The careful daily care of the vine from flowering to pruning to manual harvesting is the best premise for excellent winemaking and targeted expansion.

history

Winemakers for 4 generations, what binds us to the vine is the love for the land and the dignity that comes from an honest work, scientifically aware, aimed at the specificity of a unique and rare product.

The specificity of the Lison area, which for a millennium has been a privileged hinterland for the wine production of the Venetian aristocracy, requires all the knowledge that derives from a long experience in the field to be conveniently protected: even in this, the cultural heritage of the Bigai family plays an important role that does not fail to reveal itself in the quality and purity of the wines produced.

cellar

Next to the modern steel containers, in our cellar persist the concrete tanks together with the most ancient wooden barrels and the ancestral terracotta amphorae, rediscovered for some years.

In the choice of the type of musts to be allocated to the different wine containers, much of our art is hidden. In the other cellar activities, we are guided by the growth of the wine that we must respectfully accompany on its natural path towards perfection.

the company

The quality of a wine is inversely proportional to the quantity of grapes produced; therefore, it is necessary to operate with the freedom of being able to choose without commercial conditioning, free from fashions or market trends.

A mi manera company is constantly committed to improving the quality of the environment in which it operates, thus managing to obtain the “biodiversity friend” certification which uses the biodiversity indexes of soil, water and air, based on biomonitoring methods developed by the Scientific Committee of WBA onlus.
